Les livres coups de cœur des Jellies

The Jellies' favorite books

A must-have for every good library!

Dear Jelly Journal Editorial Team,

This is Bartholomew Bear. To celebrate World Book Day, my friends and I wanted to share our current favourite books with your readers. And if you like our selection, why not start a book club? Bashful's ears are already twitching at the thought of sharing his favourite excerpts!

Hugs,
Bartholomew

Timmy Turtle with The Life and (Many) Trials of Timotheus Turtur book

This month, Timmy is reading…
The Life and (Many) Trials of Timotheus Turtur

A remarkable work dedicated to the tenacity of my illustrious ancestor in the face of adversity. Storms. Shipwrecks. Endless queues at the post office, with only one counter open… and a person in front of you dropping off seventeen parcels (unwrapped). I still shiver at the thought.

Imagine my horror when I discovered that Ricky Rain Frog was using the copy I lent him to prop open his door. The audacity!

Yes, the book is a thousand pages long. Yes, it’s heavy enough to capsize a trawler. But still... a historical masterpiece of such magnitude deserves respect. I’m convinced your readers will share my outrage.

Amuseables Peanut reading The Hungry Games with popcorn on the side

This month, Peanut is reading...
The Hungry Games

Without hesitation: my favourite thriller. In this fast-paced fiction, competitors clash in a high-stakes barbecue competition. Strategic alliances. Crispy betrayals. I was on the edge of my seat with the mystery of the missing steak. Biting, spicy: a book that gets to your core.

Okay, it's true, I stopped on the first page (I was a little hungry). So I can't confirm that everything I just said is true. However, I can certify that it pairs wonderfully with a large bowl of popcorn.

Bashful Beige Bunny on a couch reading To all the Bunnies I've loved before

This month, Bashful is reading...
To All the Bunnies I've Loved Before

Oh, I loved this one! It’s the story of love letters that should never have been sent… and the surprises when destiny decides otherwise. Highly recommended reading for all romantics.

Don't forget to prepare a chocolate bar and a cushion to hug very tightly.

This month, Bartholomew is reading...
Brave New Bear

Amuseables Boiled Egg Geek recommended it to me (you can trust him, he wears glasses). Anyway, it's the story of a bear much braver than he imagined. I don't know why, but it really touched me.

I couldn't put it down. It's probably my favourite book, tied with How to Tame the Dark. I hope your readers will love it as much as I do.
